I relate to the music as memory and soundtrack to your life. I love finding the perfect song for an afternoon stroll by the river, or juxtaposing something radical to make grocery shopping feel radical and important, as if getting the right ingredients for dinner is a make or break moment in my character development.
This was lovely and the descriptions were very vivid.
I love this vignette of taking yourself out on the town. I remember that feeling of quickening my pace but at the same time soaking in all the details. When I lived in Chicago as a college student, solo trips walking around the city were my favorite pastime.
It’s really something. It’s interesting how other people color your experience if it’s shared, but when you’re alone, it’s your vision. I like that about being solo.
Beautiful, Chevanne!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Oh, that menu!! The first time in years that I've read about restaurant food and felt envy. What a delightful meal memory for you.
Thank you! The meal really deserved that devotional.
Such a gorgeous post, Chevanne!
I have plenty to work on in terms of improving my memory - you've given me lots to think about. Thank you. 😊
Glad to help. It’s not easy but we’re more capable than we know.

When I want to get business handled or just feel like strutting on a day out, I put in “Naked Eye” by Luscious Jackson.
I’ll have to give it a listen!
